Goa Assembly Election 2022: Goa is set to go for the Assembly polls on February 14. Srinivas is the president of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), a frontal organization of the Congress party. Srinivas BV appeals to the Citizens of Goa to vote for Congress.

Talking to SNI News Agency, Congress Leader Srinivas BV Said, ''This time the people of Goa are fully ready to support the Congress. People here now want peace. Law and order have completely deteriorated in Goa. Cases of atrocities against women are coming to the fore every day. Targeting BJP, Srinivas said that these people have done scams even with everyone's jobs. Because of this people are very upset here. Srinivas claims that BJP has done a lot of scams even during the Corona period.

Further, He Added, ''Due to the victory of Congress, the common people of Goa will also get many benefits. Mr. Srinivas also requested citizens of Goa to make Congress a winner in Goa with a full majority. Srinivas claimed that the Congress party does what it says and shows it by fulfilling it. Targeting BJP, Srinivas said that these people just make false promises.

Goa Election 2022

The Election Commission of India on January 8 announced that Goa will go to the polls on February 14. The counting of votes shall take place on March 10. With 11,56,762 registered voters on the electoral rolls, the polling stations have been increased to 1,722. In view of the COVID-19 situation, all physical rallies and roadshows have been banned until January 31 and the polling time has been increased by one hour.

While the BJP is the ruling party in Goa, in opposition are Goa Forward Party, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, Congress, and debutants Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Trinamool Congress (TMC).
